Private Hire Services

City Hopper offers private hire services to individuals and Corporate Institutions within the Republic of Kenya. Services for transfer or hire for Companies, Government and Non-Governmental organizations, Educational Institutions and Churches are offered upon prior agreement on terms and conditions between City Hopper and the interested party or parties. Hires can either be full day, half day or pick and drop. Charges for private hires are determined on the basis of distance to be covered, vehicle capacity and if the bus will be on night(s) out. Current clients include DHL Express, Kenya Commercial Bank, Scan Group among other corporate entities.

City Hopper maintains the policy of full-tank status for all its buses. A well-maintained fleet of buses is specially reserved for private hires. All buses going out on hires must have drinking water,jack, spare wheel and wheel spanner. Customers hiring City Hopper buses on full day basis are offered one-litre of bottled drinking water per person.

City Hopper offers commuter services on diverse routes within the environs of Nairobi. Customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations is a long-term goal entrenched in the vision to offer quality service. The route network continues to grow with time. Recently, City Hopper acquired new routes that the new CITI HOPPA NEXT is operating.

Outdoor Media Advertisement

Due to the high demand by brands to create mass market awareness about their products, City Hopper offers advertisement space on the buses. Bus advertisement is a form of a moving Billboard or mobile newspaper ad which guarantees customers high exposure as the message is seen (on the same route) several times a day.

The customer is the king, the customer is always right. For City Hopper’s long-term goal of ensuring customer satisfaction, compliments and or queries are channeled through customer care lines 0726-010000, 0736-010000, and 0720-476801.
